Thanks Bourbonnais Fire Protection District!

Once again, Bourbonnais Fire Protection District (BFPD) members came to Arbor Grove to assist our neighbors needing to change batteries in their smoke detectors. In some cases, expired smoke detectors were identified and homeowners advised to purchase new detectors and contact the fire district to schedule a time to install the new detectors.
While several Firefighter/Paramedics were here to help, we did catch a couple pictures of Lt. Jeremiah Romein and Firefighter Marcus Covington to share.
All of us extend our sincere thanks to BFPD, not just for today, but for all the times they come to the needs of residents of the District.
2027 proposed budget/ reserve plan and declaration for Annual Meeting approved

At the August meeting, the Board of Directors approved the 2027 budget and reserve plan, as recommended by the Finance Committee, as well as the proposed amended declarations. These documents will be included with the annual meeting packets delivered to all owners near the end of August. You can preview the budget here or the proposed declarations here. Update on potential damage from March storm

Our insurance adjuster and an engineer will be onsite on Wednesday, July 22 in the am weather permitting. The engineer will inspect 5 select roofs (704, 705, 709, 711 & 726) and the pool deck area. The engineer will be on these roofs to do an indepth analysis. Information will be provided to AG owners as we work through the insurance claim process. Also, if you notice any leaks or missing shingles caused by the storm, please notify us immediately. We will have our contractor out to address it.

Update on potential damage due to the recent hailstorm

This is an update on potential damage to our roofs from the recent hailstorm. As mentioned at our last board meeting, we were investigating potential damage and the extent of the remedy required to proceed with filing any claims resulting from the March 10th hail storm. We did file a claim with our insurance carrier and have requested that they come on-site to evaluate all 27 roofs for possible damage/claims. We anticipate that this will commence in the coming weeks. As always, we will keep you informed once we have solid information to reveal. In the meantime, if you notice any leaks caused by the storm, please notify us immediately. We will have our contractor out to address it. Arbor Grove Golf Outing
Wednesday, September 9th, 3:45 pm golf, 5:45 dinner at Aspen Ridge Golf Course
We have another fun golf outing planned! It will be 9-hole scramble at Aspen Ridge followed by a catered dinner from Tucci’s.
$50 golf and dinner $20 dinner only.
Everyone gets to participate in split the pot and the raffles - don’t forget to bring some cash! Sign up at the clubhouse by Sept 6 and pay Judy Balthazor, Vicki Stevenson or Steve Husak. |
